About St. Luke's

Mission Statement

Jesus said, “I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.” (John 10:10)

To work with God in helping people on their journey of healing toward wholeness.

We are called to do this through the ministries of:

Healing

Promoting healing through prayer and our life together wholeness of body, mind and spirit (James 5:13-16).

Teaching

Making disciples of Jesus (Matt 28:19) so that all may grow to maturity in him (Ephesians 4:13).

Outreach

Sharing the Good News of Jesus so that people might be led into a relationship with him as Saviour and Lord (Luke 24:47-48, Romans 10:9).

Our life together is characterised by prayer, worship and fellowship together as we seek to serve God, one another and our community (Acts 2:42-47).

We are called to worship, love and serve God

We are called to love and serve each other.

We are called to be a people of prayer.

We are called to be a community of worshipers, living out our faith in our daily lives

We are called to a life of discipleship and growth.

We are called to disciple others and encourage the growth of their Christian faith.

We are called to share the good news of the gospel with others in our community, our nation, our world.

We are called to care for the earth and its resources.

We are the family of God – all ages, stages, shapes and sizes!
